The History

The Villa, is of Art Nouveu heritage and has on the façade the stone faces of fairytale dwarfs by the artist Duilio Cambellotti, who is also resposnsible for creating the beautiful fountain in the garden.

The villa was often visited by Benito Mussoilini as the owner, Alice De Fonseca Pallottelli (half Italian-half English) was an ambassador of the fascist ideology in America and in England (for more info see the book of Scipione Rossi regarding this woman).

Saint Francesco from Assisi used to walk in these lands surrounded by absolute quiet, between the signing birds and peaceful sounds of crickets.
